Submit a Program Proposal

Every program that is telecast on West Hartford Community Interactive is produced or provided by a resident of the Town of West Hartford. As such, we will only consider program proposals from West Hartford residents.

Please look over your proposal carefully before submitting and make sure all information provided is accurate and relevant to the best of your knowledge. We will not accept program proposals that are incomplete or illegible. Last-minute changes in any information provided must be submitted to and approved by WHCi.

For Pre-Recorded Programs

For Studio-Recorded Programs

If you will be using the Town Hall Studio, please fill out ALL information in this section.

If you will NOT be filming your program at the Town Hall Studios, you may skip this section.

Please note that graphics for your show will be made from the information that you submit, and cannot be changed after taping.
For Programs with Multiple Episodes

If your program is a series, please fill out ALL information in this section.

If your program is NOT a series, you may skip this section.

Each episode in a series must have its own individual program proposal.

Agreement with Policies

1. I have reviewed the WHC-TV (dba WHCi) Program Standards and represent that this program does not violate those standards. I am thoroughly familiar with the nature of this program’s material and take full responsibility for its content, and certify that the program does not contain the following: 

  1. A lottery or any advertisement or information concerning a lottery or game of chance;
  2. Any presentation of advertising material designed to promote the sale of commercial products or services;
  3. Any solicitation or appeal for funds;
  4. Any obscene material;
  5. Any material of an explicitly sexual nature;
  6. Any material which has a reasonable probability of creating an immediate danger of damage to property, injury to person(s) or creating a public nuisance;
  7. Any material that is defamatory, infringes on copyright or trademark laws, or would otherwise subject the station to legal liability.

2. I agree to obtain all necessary clearances and permissions from any and all organizations, individuals, and groups as may be needed to tape and cablecast material on West Hartford Community Television (dba WHCi) and www.whctv.org.

3. I agree to hold harmless and indemnify West Hartford Community Television, Inc. (dba WHCi) and all cable providers; their employees, agents, and directors from any and all liability, loss, claim, cost, or damage of any nature whatsoever which may arise as a result of any material I have produced or provided.
